George Michael finds the test a disturbing experience - 2007-09-21
George Michael has confessed he hasn't had an HIV test for the past three years in a BBC interview with Stephen Fry, adding and he won’t take the test now. The pop singer, who has shared his intimate thoughts in the show, has requested not to be included on the programme: HIV and Me. Producer Ross Wilson tells the Daily Star, 'George says he does not believe in tests. 'He finds waiting for the tests too harrowing and says he has not had a test since at least 2004. 'On reflection, [George] felt it was too close and personal a journey to take,' says the star representative. 'He asked for his contribution to be removed.' Michae's former love Anselmo Feleppa died from an Aids-related brain hemorrhage in 1995,
George will be a guardian angel - 2007-08-14
George Michael has been tapped to star as guardian angel in forthcoming TV show "Eli Stone." The series revolved around a San Francisco attorney who discovers he has prophetic powers and starts using them for good. Michael will appear in dream sequences of the series’ title character performed by Jonny Lee Miller and inspire the ruthless lawyer-turned-good guy to do good things. A spokesman for the show says, "George really responded to the concept... and his songs reflect the themes of the show." Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim are the creators of the show that is expected to air later this year.
George Michael 'filled with shame' after drug abuse - 2007-05-11
George Michael confessed in a London court he is "ashamed" of the drug abuse, as he pleaded guilty to "drug" driving. The British pop star was rested in north London last year (Oct06), after he was found slumped at the wheel of his car. Michael says the incident was "stupid", claiming he has been "filled with shame" since that episode."I did something very stupid and I am very ashamed since doing it. I'm not used to defending myself in a position where I am ashamed of something, said Michael.
